Cubby Broccoli Cinema (108 seats) is a more intimate space, so is more widely used for showcases and screentalks. All 16mm projection takes place in Cubby Broccoli – so if you’re particularly interested in catching an archive screening, get there early!

IMAX Auditorium

The first IMAX cinema in Europe (275 seats), the museum’s large-format auditorium is one of the best in the country. Catch an IMAX film between events – in 3D or 2D!

On Location

The museum’s conference suite, On Location (85 seats) is used predominantly for workshops and masterclasses.

The Addictive TV Friday night party takes place at the Love Apple. An informal café-bar by day and a vibrating live entertainment venue by night, just a short walk from the museum.

University of Bradford
University of Bradford

Both the Motion Capture Tryout session and the Comparing animation in games and visual effects events will take place at the University. A special bus will run from the NMPFT to the University for these sessions: make sure you book your place in advance as we can only accommodate 20 people. If arriving on foot, meet in the foyer of the Richmond Building, University of Bradford.
