1. Passes and pricing structure
1.1 Student rates are also valid
for the unemployed, registered disabled, senior
citizens and ASIFA
members. Proof of concession must be presented
when purchasing, or, in the case of online
payments, be presented upon collection at the
festival itself.
1.2 The published delegate rate
is only valid up to midnight on 22 October 2004.
After this date, delegate passes will only be
available at a higher rate, which is available
on request.
1.3 Group bookings must be made
as one transaction. We must have the names of
everyone attending the festival, including any
organisers / lecturers qualifying for the free
tickets offer.
1.4 A delegate pass is non-transferable
and does not automatically guarantee entry to
all events. Available seats (except where otherwise
mentioned) are strictly limited to the maximum
capacity of each festival venue, and delegates
must obtain tickets for each event they wish to
attend. Tickets will be available from 10.00 each
day, for that day’s events only, and are
non-transferable. The doors will open 15 minutes
before each event, and any empty seats will be
filled 5 minutes before the start, regardless
of remaining ticket holders.
1.5 The National Museum of Photography,
Film & Television ('the NMPFT') cannot offer
replacements nor guarantee the contents of free
delegate packs given to festival delegates upon
registration. The NMPFT is not liable for, nor
endorses, any content supplied by third parties
(i.e free CDs, pens, literature, etc).
2. Programme and admission
2.1 The NMPFT reserves the right
to refuse admission without refund.
2.2 Festival passes are exclusively
for those over 18 years of age. Under 18s can
be admitted to selected single film programmes,
however, at the discretion of the NMPFT. Please
contact us for more information about suitable
programmes.
2.3 At all times the NMPFT will
endeavour to ensure that performances and special
events advertised as part of BAF will take place
in accordance with its advertised programme. However,
it reserves the right to cancel a performance,
substitute an alternative film or vary the time
of an exhibition if forced to do so by circumstances
beyond its control.
2.4 All material shown at BAF,
except where expressly stated otherwise, is unclassified
by the British Board of Film Classification. Films
may include, variously, nudity, offensive language
and depictions of violence or sexual activity,
and delegates are asked to check before each screening
if they are likely to be offended by any of the
material therein. The NMPFT cannot be held responsible
for the views of individual film-makers.
2.5 Refunds are only issued at
the sole discretion of the NMPFT. No refunds will
be issued after 31 October 2004.
2.6 Alcoholic drinks may not
be brought onto the premises and, where supplied
by NMPFT, may only be consumed in Pictureville
Bar, except at special events (by invitation only).
Customers are required to observe "NO SMOKING"
restrictions, which are in force throughout the
building.
2.7 Sound and video recording
equipment, cameras and mobile telephones are not
permitted in the auditorium.
